A recent study concluded that 94 people are directly affected by the homicide of one individual. In 2012, I worked with young people at the Covenant House, a shelter facility for homeless youth, in Kensington to create imagery that approaches the subject of such devastating loss. I made a series of 94 paintings in reaction to the experience. Each of the 94 images represents one of those individuals affected by one death.
